Spend Smartly does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal or financial data. Everything stays on your device.
We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:
Bank statement files (CSV and PDF) you import are parsed and stored entirely on your device using a local database. Your transaction data never leaves your phone. There are no servers, no cloud sync, and no network requests for financial data.
Spend Smartly offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock unlimited bank sources. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play). We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information. Purchase history is managed by Apple or Google according to their respective privacy policies.
The only third-party services used by Spend Smartly are Apple's StoreKit (iOS) and Google Play Billing (Android) for processing in-app purchases. No other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs are integrated. No data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third parties.
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data. Uninstalling the app also removes all stored data.
The app is not directed at children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, this policy applies equally to all ages.
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
